Onlinet helped AEGON enter into the world of virtual administration
13/10/2011
Virtual administration has been available in Hungary since early October, as AEGON introduced this administration method with the help of Onlinet in four cities including Szolnok and Cegléd.
AEGON has always been a pioneer in implementing innovations. They have always taken the associated risk. Based on previous experience, we can say that they are on the right way as phone administration, that they were the first to use, has been performing extremely well for years.
They found an appropriate partner in realising their aims, as the 10 year-old Onlinet Ltd., present in 4 continents and starting as a garage company, is now one of the leading providers and producers of customer management and IT solutions.
“It was obvious that we would like to work with Onlinet, as they have already implemented a similar system in Denmark, that is they already built a network incorporating three settlements for the local government. This is the expertise we needed, we wouldn’t have wanted to leave implementation to chance.” answered Imre Pintér, project coordinator, for the question why their choice fell on Onlinet Ltd. for creating an innovative service.
Virtual administration enables the employees of AEGON to provide more complex services for their clients and it also facilitates the colleagues’ work in our branches in Budapest and in the country.

14/09/2011
Onlinet Ltd was one of the stops of the field trip organised by the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and the International Study Programs (ISP) on 30th August. After the students’ visit of the University of Central Florida to Hungary, the choice fell on the same country and Onlinet again. This year too, they were visiting internationally recognised companies of the economic sector.
Onlinet tried to find out entertaining programs, so besides the presentations, it involved interactive program elements and tasks in the schedule of those managers and businessmen who study MBA at the university as a stepping stone to success. This year’s visit concentrated on the growth possibilities of local companies with a special focus on marketing activities. ”I like that Onlinet is so open. Most of the companies I know think that they are the greatest and they don’t need advice from anybody else. My experience with Onlinet was just the opposite, they are open to learn and to develop and they accept our knowledge even though we are just students.” – said Maria S. Isidore, engineer at Qualcom, India answering the question ”Is there anything that you think you may learned today during your visit?” The guests from America were greeted by Kornélia Liptei, Senior Adviser of the EducationUSA Advising Center. She was followed by Tamás Lukács, CEO of Onlinet, who talked about the company’s past and present and introduced the program schedule. Then, László Pénzes, Marketing Director, held an interactive presentation titled How to become the superhero of your market. He shared Onlinet’s view about how to apply each crucial element of the marketing mix to succeed and to become individual. It was the students’ turn in the second half of the program to present how they solved the tasks Onlinet had sent them in advance.
The summed-up results of the questionnaires that the participants filled in showed that the students found the whole program well-organised, they were totally satisfied with the presentation topics and they were happy to perform the tasks. The answers revealed that Onlinet could anticipate a strong future in the US.

Interactive advertisement in Prague
15/08/2011
An advertisement system consisting of 20 digital posters were installed by ONLINET in the Raiffeisen branch situated in Wenceslas Square. Some of the posters face the interior of the shop, while the rest heads to the street with content provided by a special media player.
An interactive window-display is also a part of the system, which consists of a projector and a projection foil stuck on the window. The content on the window-display does not aim to attract a passive audience. Instead, by-passers are involved in navigating the content by a motion detector, similar to the control over game consoles. By-passers can alter the projected content with gestures, which encourages the target audience to interact. One of the real advantages of the development is that it enables more effective communication than traditional posters and it is more cost-effective on the long run than printed advertising materials.

Small help for big aims
04/08/2011
The employees of Onlinet have always focused on social activities and now they are given the chance to help. The corporation donated two complete personal computers for Kemence Varázsa Közhasznú Alapítvány (Kemence Varázsa Public Utility Foundation). The organisation aims to support the disabled employees of the pottery in Biatorbágy, Hungary by giving them creative and sophisticated work, which helps them live an easier and more comfortable life.
”We would like to make the job of the disabled working in the kiln shop more intriguing. In my opinion, with this small help we are taking a step to ease their everyday life.” – said Tamás Lukács, CEO of Onlinet, describing why they consider supporting the foundation important.
The personal computers were handed over to the employees of the pottery believing that they will gain a lot of knowledge through usage.
”We were very glad to receive the donation of Onlinet, we are grateful for any present we get. We do not only benefit from the computers during our everyday work, but the more susceptible ones are now having the chance to learn computer basics. Furthermore, those who are more experienced in the field can continue expanding their knowledge.” – said Júlia Jáger Mrázné, the leader of the pottery.
